How is the Wedding Magazine different to a traditional wedding album?

The Wedding Magazine is a softcover premium photo book essentially, similar to a magazine you would find in a newsagent. Wedding Albums differ in that they have a thick hardcover and the pages are also a thicker paper stock as well as being handmade, therefore a lot more labour intensive to produce.

What sizes are the Wedding Magazines available in?

The Wedding Magazine is available in one size — A4 Vertical/Portrait (210mm x 297mm or 8.25″ x 12″).

How many pages do the Wedding Magazines have?

Choose from a 100 page, 200 page or 300 page edition. The 100 page is perfect for engagement sessions, elopements and intimate weddings. Whereas the 200 & 300 page magazines are perfect for full wedding day events.

How many photos can be used in the Wedding Magazine?

The number of photos that will fit in a Wedding Magazine comes down to a few things. Things like how many pages are dedicated to text, how many photos are used as full-page images or across the double-page spread. Here is a general guide to estimate how many photos the Wedding Magazine can hold:

100 page Love Story Magazine : 100-150 photos
200 page Love Story Magazine : 200-450 photos
300 page Love Story Magazine : 300-600 photos

Can we include words in the Wedding Magazine?

Absolutely Yes! The Wedding Magazines are custom designed for each couple and can include photos and words. Anything from the proposal story, vows, ceremony readings, lyrics, poems, quotes as well as the guest list, the names of your wedding party and supplier mentions, are a beautiful way to personalise your magazine.

We are having trouble selecting our favourite photos?

No problem! We prefer to receive the full photo collection as that gives us more creative freedom to tell your story. We include a photo curation service as part of the wedding magazine purchase, where we will select the best images to use in the first design draft. From there you have the opportunity to review the design and swap photos to ensure all your favourites make it to print. 

What quality/size do my photos need to be?

Your wedding photographer will provide you with a set of high-resolution .jpg images suitable for printing, these are the photos we need to create your Wedding Magazine. Typically print-quality photos are 300dpi and at least 2MB or larger in size — the bigger the better.

We don’t accept photos taken on mobile phones as they typically aren’t sufficient size or quality to print in a high quality photo album.

Do you offer a photo editing service?

We do not offer a photo editing service. The majority of the couples using our album design service have used a professional wedding photographer who has already supplied edited photos. Most professional wedding photographers have contracts that protect their images under copyright laws that do not allow us to edit their photos. We print images as supplied.

How do we send you our photos?

Photos can be supplied by either sending us a link to your online photo gallery ie. Dropbox, Google Drive or the client gallery provided by your photographer. Alternatively you can post us a USB containing the photos to The Coffee Table Book, PO Box 260, Northmead NSW 2152, Australia.

Do we get to review the design before going to print?

Absolutely Yes! We will provide you with a first design draft to review. This is where you have the opportunity to make changes. Two rounds of changes are included with the purchase of every Wedding Magazine. We won’t goto print until you sign off and are 100% happy with the design.

Will my photos look different when printed on paper to how I see them on my computer/phone?

Yes. Digital photos displayed on a computer monitor and mobile devices will appear different when printed. The difference occurs because of the different media used to display the images — computer monitors and mobile devices have glossy luminous screens whereas printed pages have a flat matte finish.

What if Im not happy with my printed Wedding Magazine?

Our Wedding Magazines are printed and manufactured with the utmost care and aim to deliver them in perfect condition. However, if you’re not entirely satisfied with your copy/s, contact us upon receiving your order explaining why you aren’t satisfied and we will endeavour to make it right.

Can I design my own magazine?

No. We are a full service design studio meaning we will curate your photos, design the layouts, print and deliver the bound magazine.

Can we order extra copies for our parents?

Yes! We highly encourage sharing copies of your magazine with your family and keeping an extra copy for yourselves for safekeeping. The Wedding Magazine makes an awesome Christmas gift. We have already incorporated pricing for multiple copy purchases in our online shop.

Is there a discount for ordering more than 1 copy?

Yes. We offer discounted pricing for bundle copies in our online shop. For 10+ copies please enquire.

What is the shelf life of the Wedding Magazine and how long are they expected to last?

The guarantee for our Wedding Magazines only extends to them being delivered in good condition. Simply because after that we have no control on how they are handled. Please keep in mind these are a photo book and perform like any magazine you would buy in a newsagent. Therefore, dog ears from turning pages is a characteristic of the Wedding Magazine and something we feel reflects the magazine has been enjoyed. The Wedding Magazines are packaged in a box for shipping and can be continued to be stored in the box. We suggest ordering a spare so that way one can be left on your coffee table while the spare/s are stored in the box for safekeeping.

Can we print extra copies down the track?

Yes. We archive your Wedding Magazine design so you can order extra copies down the track. We do have discounted pricing for reprints so you don’t have to pay for the design again. Simply shoot through an enquiry should you need to reprint your wedding magazine.

Where can we order a Wedding Magazine?

Easily order your Wedding Magazine via our online shop HERE. On placing your order, we will email you a questionnaire to complete, this will provide us with all your unique wedding details to help personalise your copy of the Wedding Magazine.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

The Wedding Magazines are custom made to order and therefore orders cannot be cancelled once placed.

What is your Returns Policy?

If your Wedding Magazine/s were damaged in transit or aren’t as you would expect due to our mistake, such as defective workmanship, please email us immediately explaining the issue along with photo evidence and we will replace the product as soon as possible at no further cost to you.

If you discover a spelling error or any other error after you have approved artwork or once receiving the printed magazine/s, unfortunately it is too late to stop production or change it. This is why we have a rigid online proofing process in place to give you ample opportunity to review the design and make changes. We don’t go to print until the design is approved by you.

If you have received your magazine/s and missed picking up an error, then we are happy to help rectify the issue and reprint the magazine/s at a discounted replacement rate being 25% off the retail price.
