The Fine Art Album is available in a variety of cover material and colours – Leather Covered Albums, Linens & Silk Fabric Covered Albums and Albums with a Photo-Wrap Cover.

The genuine leathers come in two finishes – Premium and Classic Leathers. The Premium has the characteristics which you’d expect from a natural hide. Whereas the Classic has a stamped texture for a more uniform look.

The Premium Leathers come in the more traditional rustic browns and Raven is the black leather. The Classic Leathers have more colour choices with even some lovely pastels like the Blossom and Tiffany.

The Linen fabric cover has a subtle woven texture and some of the natural linen tones have a slight colour variation in the woven thread for beautiful character which are by far couple’s most popular choice. There are many colours to choose from including neutral shades and bold vibrant colours for the more adventurous couples.

The Japanese Silk fabric has a random texture which is the charm of these gorgeous silks with a handful of beautiful colours to choice from to add a luxurious touch to your wedding album.

The Fine Art Albums lay flat when open so the photos can be printed through the centre crease. This allows for uninterrupted panoramic landscape photos across the double-page spread and printed edge-to-edge.

The photos are printed with archival-quality inks and on a fine art archival-grade thick paper stock with a timeless matte finish which helps reduce glare and reflections from overhead lighting to make viewing the photos more enjoyable.

We take the digital photos received from your photographer, select the best photos, then design beautiful storytelling layouts to fill the pages of your wedding album. We will adjust any exposure and colour corrections to the selected images that appear in the album. For retouching such as skin smoothing, removal of objects, etc is available at an extra cost.

Our approach to album design is modern and minimalist to let your wedding day moments breathe on the page and for the images to tell the story of your best day ever.

To give you an idea of how the album pages will be laid out, we tell the full story of the wedding day in the logical order by choosing the best images from each section of the day.

Depending on the number of photos supplied, we generally dedicate 2-5 spreads for each part of the day. Typically the ceremony, couples portraits and reception take up more spreads as there tends to be more photos and formalities from those parts of the day.

We break down the wedding day into these sections – groom prep, bride prep, ceremony, congratulations, family photos, couple portraits and bridal party location shoot, and reception. Typical most client albums end up somewhere between 30-40 spreads (60-80 pages) with a maximum of 45 spreads (90 pages).

It is hard to envisage what all the above will look like, but don’t stress, The Coffee Table Book has been designing wedding albums since 2006. It’s much easier once you see the album design laid out in front which comes together during the proofing stage.

We collaborate with our couples during the review process to ensure all their favourite and must-have photos are in the album design. Couples have the opportunity to swap, add and remove images as well as add and remove pages to ensure you are 100% happy with the design before it goes to print.

The first draft of your album design will typically be provided within 10-15 business days of receiving your images and deposit. This timeframe is subject to vary during peak times, for example the lead up to the Christmas and New Years holiday period.

We cannot guarantee a delivery time since the nature of designing an album requires feedback from the customer. So it depends on how quickly the customer gets back to us with changes, how many rounds of changes and the design being approved for printed.

From design approval, delivery takes 3-4 weeks. Because the fine art albums are in most part handmade, they are a labour-intensive product to manufacture and we will not rush the process to ensure the highest quality standards are meet.

There are 2 styles of album boxes to store and keep the album looking pristine.

Choose between the Boutique Box or Slipcase.

Don’t want to add a Boutique Box or Slipcase? Not a problem.
Your album still comes packaged in one of our standard boxes.

Standard packages comes in either a natural or black palette.
The colour is chosen by us and determined by the album cover colour.
For example, typically the darker album covers come with a black canvas bag and black box
while the lighter coloured albums come in a handmade-paper wrap and ribbon
with a natural box (pictured below) to protect the album from dust and light.

Parent albums are also available with the purchase of the master album. Parent albums are an exact replica copy of the couple’s master album. Parent albums must be the same shape and either the same size or smaller. For example, if the couple’s master album is a horizontal 14×11, the parent album must be either a 14×11, 12×9 or 10×8. If the master album is a square 10×10, then the parent album must be either 10×10 or 8×8, but not the larger 12×12.

We will acknowledge receipt of your order when we have received your order form and the images.

We have an online shop where you can easily order your album and pay by direct bank transfer or credit card.

If you prefer to only pay a deposit* upfront with placement of order you can use the online shop still to order but choose ‘Bank Transfer’ as your payment method at checkout and we will issue you with an invoice to pay the deposit by either Bank Transfer or Credit Card.

* The deposit is non-refundable and based on 50% of the base price of the chosen album – refer to the Album Price Guide HERE.

After placing your order we will contact you asking a bunch of questions about the personalisation of your album cover, also at which time you can provide us with any other information such as the wedding date and how you will be supplying the images.

Any additional charges incurred for extra pages will be added to your invoice on approval of artwork.
The balance is due on approval of artwork.

We use an online proofing system so you have the opportunity to review your design and make changes before going to print. The price includes two rounds of changes. Read more about the album design process HERE.

On approval of the design, manufacture takes approximately 2-3 weeks, with your album arriving on your doorstep in 3-4 weeks.
