Terms & Conditions

1. The Coffee Table Books and Wedding Albums are designed based on utilising photographs supplied by the photographer or the photographer's client. If you are providing photographs supplied by a photographer, you must ensure you have copyright or licensed to reproduce the photographs. Refer to Copyright terms and conditions below.

2. There is no limit on number of photographs used in the books or albums, however, whilst we endeavour to include as many photographs as possible, certain criteria will determine how many photographs can be included to retain the integrity of the design, such as number of sides and size of book.

3. The quality of the images provided will play a major part in determining the end result of the book.  Whilst we do prefer images supplied by a 'professional photographer', we will accept images supplied by non-professionals. We do assure you before starting work on the book, we will evaluate the file quality and sizes, and advise any concerns and will not print images above the acceptable print size for the file size. However, we do not take any responsibility for images not appearing to your satisfaction.  We practice proofing processes and procedures to minimise and hopefully avoid dissatisfaction with the way images appear when printed. We may do minor manipulation work free of charge ie. adjusting exposure and colour saturation to enhance the printed pages, however, any major manipulation is an additional cost which will be quoted at time of evaluation depending upon work required.

4. To be eligible for any possible discounts on multiple orders, the Coffee Table Books and Wedding Albums must be an exact replica ie. same design, same size, same format and same number of pages.  If any changes need to be made to the book design, this voids the discount offer. Not all products are eligible for discounts.

5. The initial design process usually takes about one week.  We will present the client with a ‘preview’ PDF on CD for proofing at their leisure, at which time the client will have one opportunity to request an a reasonable amount of changes (a reasonable amount of changes would be considered to be no more than 25% of the page layouts).  Revisions are to be advised in writing by email. However, we do offer clients within the Brisbane area a one (1) hour consultation should you wish to discuss the revisions in person.  Should revisions be required, a final proof CD will be sent to the client for final approval before going to print.  Any further revisions come at an additional charge of $80 per hour plus GST. These measures are taken to guarantee complete satisfaction of your printed Coffee Table Books and/or Wedding Albums. Boots Creative retains ownership of all artwork files - only preview copies will be provided for proofing purposes.

6. For delivery times please refer to the individual product literature on the website as various products take longer to manufacture.  Delivery times are an indication only and are based on time from approval of artwork. Please note leading upto Christmas, it is normal for delivery times to extend beyond usual delivery times. 

7. Payment terms: a 50% non-refundable deposit is required on placement of order, with the balance due on approval of artwork.  No design work will commence until the deposit has cleared our bank account and no products will be ordered until the final balance has been paid.

8. After receipt of your deposit, there is no time limit of when you must undertake the design phase of the book.  Paying a deposit ahead of placing your order will ensure your order is scheduled into our workflow and guarantee a priority placing above other orders.

9. All prices include GST.

Disclaimer

1. Boots Creative is not responsible for any errors or omissions after the client approves the PDF artwork as its the clients responsibility to check the artwork thoroughly before approving for print. Proofing instructions are provided with the artwork and should be followed exactly. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Copyright

1. By placing an order with Boots Creative, you warrant that you are the owner of copyright or have the express authorisation of the owner of copyright in the photographs that you submit to Boots Creative.

2. Boots Creative will not accept any liability for breaches by you of the copyright of any other party. You indemnify Boots Creative for all costs and damages that Boots Creative may suffer arising from any allegation that Boots Creative is liable for any infringement of copyright arising from Boots Creative’s use, reproduction, modification, adaptation, alteration or transmission of the photographs submitted by you to Boots Creative.

3. You are solely responsible for complying with all relevant copyright laws that apply to you and your conduct. You acknowledge that you are aware that a breach of such laws may have serious consequences for you including both civil and criminal liability.

4. Boots Creative reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion to refuse to reproduce, modify, adapt, alter or transmit any photographs or other material submitted by you to Boots Creative.

5. Without limiting the above paragraph in any way, Boots Creative reserves the right to refuse to reproduce, modify, adapt, alter or transmit any photographs or other material that Boots Creative considers objectionable or contrary to any law.

6. We reserve the right to use any of our designs for promotional use in any form of media whether in print or on the web.

Privacy Policy

Boots Creative will not disclose your personal information to any external individuals or organisation. We will not use your information for any purposes other than to provide information, updates and special offers relating to our products and services.

Warranty

All warranty claims will be inspected and assessed before a Warranty Claim is approved. Warranty claims include flaws that are a result of the production process only. We will not replace books with mistakes that are the fault of the customer or normal wear and tear. Warranty is on a return to us basis. Freight costs are not covered by warranty.
