A photographer’s workload has increased enormously with the increase in number of digital images being taken whether it be a wedding, portrait or commercial photoshoot, along with the time needed for marketing and other business activities as the photography industry is more competitive since the introduction of the digital camera.

More and more photographers are outsourcing their post-production and album designing to focus their time on what they do best ‘shooting’, which is where a photographer earns the most profit!

Boots Creative is an experienced design studio that specialises in photo retouching and custom designed album layouts.

All work done by Boots Creative is performed in Australia to support the local economy.

Retouching includes:

• Colour/White Balance corrections for natural skin tones etc.
• Images are given the ‘punch’ treatment – the all important different between an ‘average’ and a ‘great’ image. Any one of or a combination of Exposure, Level, Curves, Contrast and Saturation adjustments depending upon the image.
• Colour Treatments (ie. Black and white, sepia, spot colouring)
• Sharpening to make your images pop.

Because we understand all photographers like to develop their own style and tastes, when we receive your first order, we will take a selection of images and edit those for test purposes. We will email you these images for proofing, and on your approval, we will edit the remaining images and ensure all images are produced to achieve their best results.

All images are supplied as high resolution (300dpi) JPG files. We also provide a complimentary set of low resolution (72dpi, 600px * 400px) images for you to use on your website, blog, Facebook etc.

We calibrate our monitors regularly and highly recommend your computers are also calibrated.

The Cull Service

Simply provide us with all the images from the shoot and for an additional $0.10 per image deleted, we will cull the images by removing the out-of-focus, similar images from a series selecting only the best few, closed-eyes, weak composition, etc. Simply tell us exactly or an approximation of how many images you want it culled too or we will simply remove the worst of the bunch, saving you pains taking time sifting through thousands of images.

Turnaround

Orders are process in the order they are received and completed in approximately 7-10 days.  If you have an urgent order, we will queue jump the order for a fee of $50 per order with turnaround in approximately 3-5 days.

Proofing

We require you to review the images and request any changes within 4 weeks as we only retain your images on our system for a period of 6 weeks from the date we despatch the images to you. We will send you an email once we despatch the images. Additional charges will apply to modify the images after the 4 week review period has expired.

All orders must be prepaid. We accept Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard only) via our secure online payment gateway http://www.thecoffeetablebook.com.au/payments.php, posting a cheque with your order or direct deposit (please contact us for bank details).
